PENSION RECLAIM SERVICE
FOR EXPATS
According to estimates, there are more than 87 million expats worldwide. Often these people have worked in various countries and have built up a government and/or an employer pension there. However, many expats do not know that they are entitled to this accrued pension. If the expat is aware of this at all, he or she often gets bogged down in red tape and does not receive the pension to which he or she is entitled.
In order to relieve you of a lot of tiresome work and to ensure that you receive what you are entitled to, Worldwide Pensions has set up the Pension Reclaim Service.
THE PENSION RECLAIM SERVICE CONSISTS OF THREE PARTS:
THE REGISTRATION SERVICE
This service allows you to register your basic personal details such as name, date of birth and address. In addition, the Pension Reclaim Service allows you to register details of current residence in the country of residence/work and a history of residence in other countries.
Data about the employer and any employer's pension can also be registered.
For the registration service, you pay a one-time fee of 12.50 euros (including VAT).
THE INSIGHT SERVICE
For you as an expat, it is very important to have continuous insight into your accrued pensions. With this service you can make changes about your private and work situation and you can upload various documents. Your personal file is then updated. Once every five years you will receive an update from us that provides insight into all accrued pensions. The overview is continuously available to you.
We charge an ongoing fee of 12.50 euros (including VAT) per month for the Insight service.
THE RECLAIM SERVICE
With this part we start the process that is necessary to request the accrued pensions from the various authorities and to ensure that they are paid out to you. This also includes a tax service, which is necessary to prevent the pension benefit from being taxed twice.
For the reclaim service, we charge a one-off fee of 5% of the total pension to be reclaimed, with a minimum of 950 euros (including VAT) for the government pension and a minimum of 225 euros (including VAT) per company pension to be reclaimed.
For every year that you are registered you accrue a discount of 2.5%. The total discount can be up to 75%! This discount applies to all pensions to be reclaimed.
